We have been wanting to get Lilly a big girl bed. We still need to and are planning to. But in the mean time we decided to temporarily transform her crib until we can get her a real bed. Here is a picture of it.

The Adventures of Lilly Kim!
I was at Hill AFB all day yesterday doing some online training and getting everything ready to go to Travis AFB (I will write about that in my other blog later). So Marni and Lilly were home alone all day. So to spend a little time with Lilly and give Marni a well deserved break I took Lilly to the park this morning. We have a bike cart I pull behind my bike that she loves to ride in, so we hooked it up and set off on our adventure! (the park is about 3 blocks from our house).
At the park there are a total of 4 swings and 3 slides and she made sure she experienced them all multiple times. Below are a few pictures I took with my phone while we were there.

Tick tock, Tick Tock!
Wow, it has been a long time since I posted anything on this. But i think this blog is good for here not my other one.
Yesterday we went to Primary Children's for Lilly's follow-up appointment and echo-cardiogram. Other than all the waiting it went pretty well. We did the echo first which was basically just an ultrasound of Lilly's heart, so we got to see it beating on the screen, not that any of what we were seeing meant anything to us, or at least me. Lilly was really good the whole time, and just laid there and watched Monsters Inc, while Marni and I watched her and the screen of the Echo. Of course the tech didn't say anything to us, so we had to wait for the doctor.
After about a half hour of waiting in the exam room an intern came in and listened and said he could still hear the murmur. Then he and the doctor came back in and the doctor listened and said he could hear it too. He also said that there was a small hole in one of the upper chambers of Lilly's heart. I guess that is what is causing the murmur.
Now that being said, he also said it is just the Innocent Murmur that they suspected it was. He said that all babies are born with the hole in the upper chamber, but it usually closes up in a matter of months. It can take years to close up though which is the case with Lilly. He said it doesn't really cause any problems and there is nothing to worry about. He said sometimes it will never completely close up but even then usually it doesn't matter. So he said he should need to see her again unless on one of her normal checkups with her doctor the doctor wants it checked again.
So Lilly is a very healthy happy girl that just happens to have an innocent murmur.
Lilly was so good they gave her free Ice Cream cone, a stuffed puppy dog, and 2 tokens for a machine with little toys. She is spoiled! I think Marni is going to be posting some cute pictures she took while at the hospital.
