The Adventures of Lilly Kim!

I was at Hill AFB all day yesterday doing some online training and getting everything ready to go to Travis AFB (I will write about that in my other blog later). So Marni and Lilly were home alone all day. So to spend a little time with Lilly and give Marni a well deserved break I took Lilly to the park this morning. We have a bike cart I pull behind my bike that she loves to ride in, so we hooked it up and set off on our adventure! (the park is about 3 blocks from our house).

At the park there are a total of 4 swings and 3 slides and she made sure she experienced them all multiple times. Below are a few pictures I took with my phone while we were there.

She Likes to swing on the big girl swing too!

I tried to get some of her actually coming down the slide, but my stupid phone has a delay on the camera, so you push the button but it doesn't take the picture for a couple seconds. Dumb I know. Anyway because of that I could't get any action shots. Maybe the next phone will be better.
While we were there I decided to make some notes of some cute things she was talking about so I wouldn't forget. I didn't have paper so I just wrote on my hand. She saw me doing this and asked "What doing daddy?" I told her I was writing a note. After coming down the slide she held out her hand and said "Write note daddy", so I wrote I love you, and she ran off to go down the slide again happy as can be.
They were putting a new roof on the house accross the street from the park. When she heard the bang of the hammer she asked "What that daddy?" But at the time I didn't know and told her that. So she told me what she thought it was. Fireworks! She said fireworks go "bang bang". Then she told me their are green ones and purple ones and they are loud, so she sat on Mommy's lap. I missed fireworks this year because I was in Texas. I'm glad she had fun and likes to tell me about things. She is so cute.
We then got back on the bike and rode around town looking at all the cows and horses, because she loves seeing them. When we were looking at the cows they mooed as cows do. She started laughing and looked at me and said "he said moo daddy!"
We use to have a lot of cows behind our house that she loved to go see. When I got back from Texas she said "go see cows" so we walked back there. They were all gone but one, that is there by itself. Now she says "go see one cow daddy".

This is so cute...I love the "one cow" thing. I'll bet she and Bentley would just love each other! Hopefully they'll actually play together at some point during their childhood!

I haven't even checked this blog for awhile since you hadn't posted in such a long time. I'm glad I did. That was really cute. I laughed over the "one cow" thing too. I bet she's just so adorable with all of her talking.

She is too cute for words, to bad we never get to see her in person and we live so much closer than other family members. You should really plan a weekend and come visit us here, there are cows in the fields!!!(wink wink)
