I guess it doesn't fix everything after all.

Earlier today, Lilly was helping me like she always likes to do, and we both reached for the same thing at the same time. In the process I accidentally jabbed her finger with my finger nail. So as I always do, I grabbed it and kissed it better. But come to find out I just kissed it.

Lilly: Kissing doesn't feel better.

Me: It doesn't? Sorry, are you okay?

Lilly: Well no!


She is fine now though. I think just to be on the safe side I will keep kissing it. Maybe one of these times I will get my magic "make it all better" kisses back.

off to save the day

Today Lilly was running around the house with her clothes hamper on her head saying "off to save the day" over and over. I was just sitting on the chair watching her and Grant play. After a little while she came over and asked if she could sit on my lap. I said,
"I thought you were 'off to save the day'"
Lilly: "I lost my powers"
Me: "What powers did you have?"
Lilly"'off to save the day' Powers"
Me: So you don't have your powers anymore?"
Lilly: No, so now I can't fly."
